This is a tribe of Burma in Kayan. These are very strange people who are living here. The reason is that here women wear brass neck-rings around their necks to make it long. Here, when girls are in their childhood then these coils are worn in their necks so that their necks became long. In this tribe long neck is considered the sign of beauty. By the usage of these coils their necks became almost 1 feet long. So these women are known by the name of “Giraffe women”. To make long necks in this ways ,their ribs of neck became weak and these women cannot maintain balance of their necks without coils. Here man does not like such women who stops wearing coils and they depose them from their houses.
